If you’d like to buy a DVD of the BEST elementary school show in town ($7) or a 2010-2011 Clinton Rainbow Photo ($7), they will be for sale on the front lawn tomorrow (Wednesday, June 22nd) from approximately 11 am until 12:30.

Outdoor Picnic – this Thursday @5:30pm

Posted June 13th, 2011 by PTA

It’s our last school-wide event for the school year!

Come to the front lawn to celebrate the end of 2010-2011 school year with your Clinton community. There will be LIVE music from the SOMa Jazz Trio and music from DJ Jeremy Moss. Bring a picnic blanket and pack a dinner, or you can buy food and drinks there. We will have hot dogs, pizza, homemade pasta, drinks, chips and ice cream for purchase.

The Fifth Grade class will hold a bake sale with all proceeds going to support the Fifth Grade class gift to Clinton School. Please consider contributing baked goods – cookies, brownies, etc. Individually wrapped please. If you have any questions about the bake sale or can help out, please contact Barbara Cokorinos or 973-763-2163. We all know our fifth grade class is awesome – a special gift for Clinton School to be used by the teachers and future students means the class of 2011 won’t be forgotten!

We will also introduce the newest members of the PTA Executive Board and give a fond farewell to Board Members who have devotedly served our school.

Don’t forget to visit the school store! We’ll have bumper magnets, smencils, the 2010-2011 RAINBOW PICTURE and “A Night at the Movies” DVD’s for purchase.

Lastly, tonight is your last chance to claim your child’s misplaced items from the LOST & FOUND. Deidra McLaughlin has generously washed and folded all the clothing, and will have everything displayed. Any unclaimed items will be donated to Other Mothers for the Clinton School account.

See you Thursday from 5:30-7:30pm!

Clinton School is a Rainbow!

Posted June 7th, 2011 by PTA

Thanks to the creativity and hard work of the Clinton parent and student volunteers, the 2011 Memorial Day Float was a beautiful (and “green”) success! The float was…

…Made from dyed newspaper:

…Crumpled and stuffed into wire mesh:

…Framed and formed, then posed with The Clinton Cub and our great Principal:

…Proudly marched in the parade:

Many thanks to the Float Design team: Jackie Lahey, Jeremy Moss, Melissa Healey, Heather Kern, Jen Scheutz and Kyle Sturhann. Special Thanks to Erica and Michael Dussman, Monica Merel and Sandi Goodman, Scott Lahey, and of course, Ms. O’Neill and Ms. Bodnar! Thanks to everyone who helped make a rainbow and marched in the parade.

Clinton School is the pot of gold at the end of a rainbow!
